Numerous people signed up for Southwest Airlines’ free rapid rewards bonus points for new members.
The company is now saying that it needs to verify the addresses of those who signed up.
On Monday Southwest Airlines e-mailed those who signed up when the promotion went live in April.
The airlines offered 5,000 rapid rewards bonus points to new Hawaii residents who enrolled.
Those whose points were deleted from their accounts must e-mail SWAaloha@wnco.com by July 31st.
You’re asked to include an image of a recent utility bill showing your Hawaii address.
The subject line must include Hawaii 5-K Enrollment and your Rapid Rewards account number.
Once verified, the points should be added to your account within a month.
