Perpetuating the family Lineage

Fan favorite and homegrown Hawaii Chef Sheldon Simeon has had international, national and local acclaim. Since winning the hearts of the public after appearing on the popular Bravo series Top Chef several times, the Hilo native and Maui resident has broadened his horizons with two addicting eateries on the Valley Isle (one of them being Tin Roof in Kahului). After letting the hype sink in, Lineage in Wailea opened its doors about a year ago. Here’s a look at the menu that pays homage to local flavors, Hawaii comfort foods and firm Filipino cultural influences that have taken new American culinary cuisine to the next level.

House-made Chili Pepper Water and Chicharon
A classic staple in the kitchens of Hawaii homes, the spicy, yet salty combination of this interpretation of chili water paired with the crispy pork skins is a moment to cherish.
Pork & Peas
Paying homage to his heritage this elevated take on a Filipino staple Pork Guisantes is mouthwatering and full flavored.
Katsu Curry
Blending local memories with textures and umami in every bite this vegetarian version of chicken or pork katsu is craveworthy.
Miki Noodles
Ham hock makes everything better and ad the texture of delicate noodles and fresh vegetables for a comfort food you’ll always remember.
One of my favorite things is the combination of One Ton sweet crunchy chips with an addicting Kim Chee cream cheese dip. I could eat this everyday, but my waistline may regret it.
Their craft cocktails and overall beverage program is one to be rivaled in any major metropolitan city.
Cart Selections
varied local favorites served dim sum style, be sure to eye up the cart with care and pick your favorites to tantalize your taste buds.

Lineage does not disappoint. Reservations are highly suggested or you may be able to snag a seat at the bar. Come with an open mind and an empty stomach and prepared to dine on items that are somewhat familiar while also breaking the rules when it comes to culinary showmanship.
