Molokai Brush Fire Burns 20 Acres

Twenty acres of land burned in a Friday brush fire on Molokai.

Maui Fire Department crews responded to the alarm shortly before 3 p.m. in the area of Hoolehua.

Crews on the ground initiated fire attack while Air 1 conducted water drops in hard to reach areas.

The fire was deemed contained by 5 p.m.

MFD officials say the cause of the fire has not been determined.
