MFD: Man Collapses at Kanaha Beach Park

An adult male collapsed at Kanaha Beach Park in Kahului on Monday. Maui Fire Department crews responded to the park shortly before 3:30 p.m. to find the man, who had previously been windsurfing, collapsed on the beach. Ocean safety and rescue personnel conducted CPR and revived his pulse. The man became responsive but not alert. He was transported to Maui …

MFD Responds to Weekend Drownings

Maui Fire Department crews responded to drownings on both Maui and Moloka`i this weekend. On Saturday, MFD arrived at Nuu Bay on Maui to learn that a 45-year-old Maui Resident had been pulled from the water, unresponsive, by his family. MFD Airlifts Two People from Makamaka`ole Gulch
